White Wines

Chardonnay
This versatile Chardonnay is warm and creamy. It is brightly flavored with elements of ripe apples, melons, pears, soft lemons, and vanilla. This wine demonstrates good balance, sufficient sugars, and nice flavors that are not too weak or overbearing. Our Aurelia says it reminds her of a warm toasted waffle with crystallized sugar.

Hibernal
Hibernal is a German crossing of Seibel and Riesling that produces full-bodied white grapes with nice acidity and higher alcohol content. Slightly fruity the flavors with a creamy mouth feel are dominated by notes of black currants, gooseberries citrus and tropical fruits. Delicate floral notes with subtle hints of bitterness.

Traminette
Traminette is an easy and reliable grape to grow. It is a cross of Gewürztraminer and the French-American varietal Johannes Seyve.    A nicely structured white wine with floral aromas similar to Gewürztraminer, with flavors of apricots, melon, honey and spice.

Pinot Grigio
Pinot Grigio is a light, crisp and semi – dry white wine. These characteristics are complemented by aromas of lemon, green apple and honey.

Riesling
A semi-dry Riesling with crisp high acidity that is balanced by floral fragrant aromas and flavors of white peaches, citrus and pineapples. Finishes clean with a slightly mineral aftertaste.

Red Wines

Pinot Noir
Pinot Noir is a delicate, full-bodied and complicated red wine. It has flavors of strawberry jam, red cherries, raspberries, black pepper and spice. It can also exhibit plum and eucalyptus flavors which layer nicely with cedar and sweet smoke.

Cabernet Franc
Cabernet Franc is a medium bodied red wine with earthy aromas of red and black raspberries, cranberries, and muted herbal flavors. A relative of Cabernet Sauvignon it is typically used as a blending grape. This Hudson Valley Cabernet Franc resembles those produced in the Loire Valley of France.

Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful garnet color with good tannin structure and moderate acidity.  It has aromas of blackcurrant, tomato leaf, dark spices and cedar wood.

Red Blend
A Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Cabernet Sauvignon is the dominant member in this blend, and provides both structure (acidic and tannic) and aromatic complexity (cassis, cedar, tobacco). The Cabernet Franc component brings a lifted, slightly more  floral aroma and a hint of spice on the palate.
